I find it hard to find a good tool for writing adventures in dnd. Looking for feature suggestions

Can anyone recommend tools to use as well?

What sort of features are you looking for? Appearance or some level of functionality for running an adventure?

For appearance, I use Homebrewery. It's probably my favourite website.

For planning and linking, Obsidian is a good tool, which lets you create your own personal wikipedia of your adventure, which is great when you're organised and a pain when you're not!

This is one of those "as complicated as you want to make it" situations. If all you're looking to do is write, Notepad or Word (or just about any alternative word processor) are perfectly cromulent. If you want somewhere to collect a bunch of notes, links, pictures, etc., you might look at OneNote, Google Keep, Notion, Obsidian, or one of a few other note organization apps. If you're looking for something designed with D&D campaign building in mind, you could check out World Anvil or Campfire.

Over the years I have used Google Docs, World Anvil, OneNote, Campfire, notes within Foundry and now Obsidian. I love Obsidian due to it's simplicity and scalability (and it's free!). There are also a number of plugins that are geared specifically to TTRPGs. (Search for TTRPG on the Community section of the Obsidian site.)

I'm using Legend Keeper to run my game world.  One of my campaigns is actively building it for me during the game, which is great.

For adventures, I can put all my notes in a hidden section and run the game off that page.

this sheet has some of my design ideas. 

I am trying to use the homebrewery for inspiration, especially for some of the functionality, however I'm trying to get the tool to have a way to get an adventure into a format that is very intuitive to write and use, especially in a printed out format. My goal is to make it very easy for dms to use who need a way to get an adventure written and figure out plot and lore to do so, and possibly consolidate various tools that already exist, and also make it free to use. I do want to try to find good tools. I am trying to take inspiration from these. Thanks for the tool recommendations. I will look through these more. Sorry for not responding sooner.
