I love writing, D&D style fantasy, grew up reading the Dragonlance novels and RA salvatore, and then life got in the way and I lost it.
I'd like to get back into D&D online somehow, maybe in a writing capacity - I use to DM a fair bit and would create big story lines for my friends and other groups.
You can check the Play by Post section in DDB forums, or an online gaming platform (tabletop simulator, roll20, etc.)
I'm currently DM'ing a campaign on Roll20, you just create a campaign and post it, people will be sending submission within the day (or even a couple of hours), if you aren't sure how it works just look for a campaign that fits your schedule and send a submission, there are many options (even some that require payment which may guarantee you consistent participation and experienced Online DM'S)
If your interest is mostly in writing, there is an active forum dedicated to Story/Lore which could be a good place to showcase those abilities. There are also lots of threads posted from DMs and players looking for stories for campaigns, ideas for plots, or character backstories. The Play By Post Forum and LFG Forum also have ample opportunities to actually play with other people. Or you can just lurk and see what’s changed since you’ve been gone. Dndbeyond is an awesome place to get back into the game.
Hi all,

Anybody have any ideas for me?
Sincerely,
