Hi! My friend and I are having a debate over my character acquiring an endless bottle of alcohol. I thought it would be simple to pull a Nott the Brave and have my bottle enchanted to be an endless bottle of alcohol. But my friend says that would be a wondrous item, it would be very rare to get, it would cost alot, and it could break economies because it's an endless bottle of alcohol. SO, my question is getting this item game breaking or something?
There is not an "enchanted item" in 5e (to my knowledge). All magic items that are not weapons, armor, etc are wondrous items, yours is too.
Alchemy jug is a good comparison to this, it can even produce 2 types of alcohol at limited quantities per day. It either needs a limit, or you might consider making it only able to drink from but not pour out the alcohol. Either way, depending on DM discretion, it would be worth a few hundred gp.

Sounds like a cross between a decanter of endless water and an alchemy jug. Probably also an uncommon wondrous item.
