Hi everyone. I was looking through the DnD Beyond store and saw some of the rulebooks had different types. I was wondering what the difference is between the Campaign Sourcebooks (Eberron, Ravinca, and Sword Coast) and Rules Supplements (Volo's, Xanathar's, and Mordenkainen's). Any help with distinguishing these two would be great. Thanks to anyone who responds!
A campaign sourcebook focuses on a specific setting, like Eberron, Ravnica, or the Forgotten Realms. A rules supplement focuses on setting-independent stuff: new monsters, spells, items, races, and subclasses, generally.
