While I'm not entirely sure I'm interested in Spelljammer, I could say the same for Eberron and Ravnica. At the end of the day, both still introduced elements that I enjoy and utilize, whatever my interest in the settings themselves.
Really, the main interest for me would have been if Spelljammer allowed for 5e to have a closer look at the various inner planes. I really want something written about the Feywild, Shadowdark and Elemental planes, at least as involved as Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes' info on the Blood War, the Abyss and Nine Hells. Yes, MToF does go into the Feywild and Shadowdark, but solely as historical context for the various Elven subraces.
Look at the UA that has been coming out. That is the stuff that may be going into this new book.

Yeah, that's the safest assumption, though the current UAs might not be for the same book.
Right now, the only UAs we have that are not already claimed are Of Ships & Sea and Sidekicks, and possibly Giant Soul Sorcerer. They certainly can be linked, both are relevant to a party with a number of accompanying NPCs. Sidekicks and crew officers can very easily go hand in hand. We might get another UA either this Monday or the next, that will also give us an idea. Giant Soul might also have been intended for Ravnica or Eberron, and might not have made the cut like what happened to the Viashino race. It was from back in June, and was in the middle of Eberron/Ravnica race and subclass UAs.
But also keep in mind that we had UA for Mordenkainen, Eberron and Ravnica intermingle with each other a bit. So the possibilities right now are that all of the current, unclaimed and upcoming UA are for the Spring book, or maybe only some of them, or maybe none of them. For example, Circle of Spores was in a January UA, while Eberron Magic Items was an October UA.
My assumption is that, since the spring book is confirmed to be Maritime-themed, Of Ships & Sea is obviously connected. Sidekicks certainly has a place in it, for all the reasons I mentioned above. Giant Soul has been discarded. We'll get an announcement some time in February, for a late March or April release. We also know that the Spring book goes to printers in January or February, I think it was said, so it's unlikely that the January UA will be for the Spring book.
accuracy - critical rolls take 1 less per point, and this counters evasion. evasion - roll a 1d20 dice plus this value. On a failed check, the attack outright misses. This value cumulatively doubles for every 25 feet involved. > This would allow for much bigger values, even on sight, range, plus, area. logistics - +10% more sight, range, and speed per point.

This statement is meant to be both provocative and condescending. Look at these pathetic huddled masses in their private and closed games, cringing behind the policy of no homebrews and no custom content. This is an insult and injury even to fire types. HEED THIS! Your better off playing rpgmaker. It's everything this place wants to be when it grows up. Seriously. Otherwise, good luck, they will overdo things. All because of safety and security... kor.

It's basically an open secret at this point that it's a Spelljammer book.

Well I guess I can wait to finish my new nautical campaign!
Sigh I hope. Spelljammer is one of my favorite and I want Spelljammer support on dndbeyond.
In that same video the linked article above references, they specifically stated that it is not Spelljammer.
I hope so, because I have absolutely no interest in Spelljammer.

I'm kind of hoping it's Dragonlance, but I think that's just me!
I'm hoping for important new skills: (uses dex)
