I don't understand the mechanics behind this. How does he get "oppertunity attacks" from his own team. If its 5 on 5 he gets 9 oppertunity attacked on whom ever he wants?
The rules on attacks of opportunity specify that the target has to be hostile, so you don't get attacks of opportunity against your allies. There are circumstances under which you can make an attack of opportunity on an ally's turn, notably when an ally causes an enemy to use its reaction to move out of your reach, e.g. by casting Dissonant Whispers.
Nothing in the ability allows the cavalier to make attacks of opportunity against whomever they want; all the normal AoO rules still apply. The ability just removes the limitation that you only get one per round. Now it's one per turn.
