So we are planning a one shot where everyone gets level twenty characters, but they're randomized so people don't just make like stupidly broken builds. I was planning on getting the master subscription and a couple of source books as a cool Christmas gift for everyone with just more variety in characters, but from what I understand you can only use content sharing with characters that are already in a campaign and while you can create a character when joining a campaign it doesn't let you randomize them. Is there anything I'm missing? Anyway I could do this?
The randomizer on DDB doesn't work with all sourcebooks anyway, you can use a third party tool (Google for one) to pick the class and race. Most generators don't multiclass either though.
Wasn't aware that random doesn't use all books, but a work around could be you create the random chars with the random function (if you're subscribed you can have as many chars as you want), and assign them to the campaign/players.

That's too bad. Thank you anyways
