Appreciate this question/answer will be in here someplace but i cant find it. I currently have the free DDB account with some bought source books and have created 4 characters for my current crop of players. I want to create a campaign and give them access to see their characters online. So, is this...

a) Even possible to do with the free account or do you need a subscription?

b) If it is possible how do you share the campaign content. 

I know theres a url link to the campaign and my test dummy has used it to join the campaign but I think he would have to create the character??

You can give a character to another player by using the join link yourself and adding the character as an unassigned character. When players join the campaign, they can claim them and they will be removed from your character list.

Any purchased content you put on the characters will stay there, but if they are removed after a player without access to that content claims them, it can't be re-added unless you reclaim the character and reshare it, or someone in the campaign buys a master tier subscription and enables content sharing.

There's the easiest way to do things: buy a master tier subscription, add characters as unassigned, done.

Then there's the cheapest way to do things: add characters as unassigned, reclaim them everytime the characters need to level up or change spells.
