Ok so I'm currently writing a story that takes place before my campaign and I'm creating adventurers for it. I currently have a female human paladin, a half elf female noble (using dmsguild noble class, and a male high elf artificer. I'm thinking I need 1 or 2 more characters but not sure which classes would round out the party.
P.s they're fighting off necromancers if that's helpful.
A stealthy character, such as a rogue or a ranger, and a true Spellcaster such as a sorcerer or a wizard. Alternatively, a cleric would be helpful, although the paladin can handle healing to sone degree
I was wondering if a multi classed rogue/wizard would work, I had an idea for blink stabs being a thing he does, and I do definitely need a mage of some kind thank you very much.
For solely story reasons as compared to player comp, I would add a Druid here. It opens some story lines of "Nature vs. Undead" vs "Religion vs. Undead" of the Paladin and provides contrast or conflict between the Paladin and Druid in approach.
An abjuration wizard could provide some arcane firepower as well as protection magic.
A druid would be a great choice for the "nature vs unnatural" element.
Even a grave cleric fits, since they support the natural order which makes them natural enemies of the undead.
But I think a great choice would be a Celestial Warlock. They've got a great set of healing and support abilities, and it fits thematically with the "good vs evil" thing.
