Are there any plans to include some type of campaign management functionality such as that found in Scabard or World Anvil?

Yes, but it's on the long term roadmap and I wouldn't expect it this year (lots of goodies coming though). You can see the roadmap here: https://trello.com/b/vIKxuEs8/dd-beyond-feature-roadmap
