I'm switching my paper/pen game over to DND Beyond, and I'm trying to create an item that I've already awarded a player.
The item is a arcane focus - wand. And it changes the players spell save DC by adding the proficiency bonus a second time.
Now I've gotten it to work manually but it wont scale automatically when the character levels up.
Modifier type: Bonus
Modifier sub type: spell save DC
Fixed value: 2.
Does anyone know what changes I can make so it will automatically scale as the character levels? Is there a different modifier/sub combination that will work, or a way to write(code) the fixed value so it achieves the same effect?
Instead of fixed value:2, under additional bonus types, select proficiency bonus. If that doesn't work, then it doesn't work.
Thanks, I tried that but there was no change to Spell Save DC. I think if I had left the fixed number in, the item would have effected both DC and Proficiency Bonus.
