Hi everyone,

Here is something that is just for fun. Let's make a character together. I will start off by describing a scene and then you all post how you think the character or NPC turns out. Remember if to say if its a PC or an NPC.

Based on this scene, describe the character you imagine:

The Scene:

Kassandra was woken from a blissful dream by Sister Madeline who was shaking her rather violently. "what, what is it?" Kassandra asked sleepily, "is it morning already?" Sister Madeline scowled at her young charge so aggressively that for a moment Kassandra thought she genuinely meant her harm ..... "Stop babbling child" she replied "get up ... we have to leave, there is not much time."

"There is no time left for you at all" came a voice from the door.

Madeline whirled round to see three large human men standing there looking at them with an evil look in their eyes. Madeline pulled a small knife from her pocket and brandished it at the intruders warning them to stay back but the men only laughed.

One of the men, whom Madaline assumed must be the leader, nudged the other two .... "look boys, this Tiefling things she can tell us what to do ..... " Another of the men stepped forward and looked hard at the two girls in front of them. Finally he spoke:

"Hey boss, I know they're Tieflings and all but they're pretty cute for devils, I bet they'd fetch a good price so we should take them with us instead of just killing them." The leader squinted and cocked his head .... "yea, I suppose you're right, they are pretty cute for devil brats... especially that little one - so maybe we should have fund with them instead."

Madeline raised the knife and held it at arms length .... "Don't you dare, leave her alone you hear .... I won't let you touch her or I will ... I will ... I will use this"

Thud ...

Madeline felt a dull ache as the leader swung the blunt edge of his sword into the side of her head, forcing her to her knees. For a second, she didn't exactly know what had happened, but as her eyes began to focus again, she realised that her attacker had hold of one of her horns, pulling back her head enough to press the tip of his blade into her throat.

"Now you just be a good devil" he said "and do as you are told and we will leave your little friend alone." Madeline looked at Kassandra; out the corner of her eye. She could see a terrified young girl trying to be brave and hold back her tears. She looked back at the man who had hold of her, "you promise you will not hurt her?"

The man smiled - "yea promise" he said.

Sister Madeline stopped resisting and as the first of the men dragged her across the floor towards the empty bunk, she looked back at Kassandra. "Close your eyes sweety" she said in the calmest voice she could muster. "I'll be alright if you just close your eyes and don't move from your bed." Kassandra did as she was told. For what seemed like hours she sat there with her eyes shut, listening to the three men assault her caretaker.

After it had been quiet for a while, Kassandra opened her eyes just a bit - wide enough to see Sister Madeline curled up in the corner of the room. Instantly she jumped from her bed and ran over to the one person who had ever been kind to her. In floods of tears, she threw her arms around her now despondent friend.

"I will make them pay" she said through endless sobs ... "I will get stronger and I will make them pay for hurting you ..... no, I will make them all pay ... all humans will pay for everything they have ever done to a Tiefling."

Madeline hugged Kasandra. She wanted to tell her it was alright, that this was just the way things were, that it would never change but the conviction in the voice of her young ward somehow kept her silent. Instead she just sat there and hugged her.

"I promise" Kassandra said again ... "no, I swear that one day, I will make them all pay."

So there we have it, there's the scene. What kind of character or NPC do you think Kassandra grows up to be and what kind of life do you think she leads as an adult?

I am really looking forward to see what you all come up with but remember this is just for fun, so it can be either a PC or an NPC.
