Does anyone play Modern campaigns?

Quite a long time ago, I played a D20 Modern game. I really enjoyed it, but unfortunately the game fizzled before the end. 

Does anyone play Modern and is there a conversion from the old version to 5e?

Would love to dip my toes in that genre again.

I think there is a 3rd party suppelment or maybe its in the DMG book, where you have new gears and spells to play a "Shadowrun" style game.

With stuff like fire arms, energy weapons, and "Hacking" spells to get into electronics and computers.
