Hello, I recently did a (currently private) conversion on D&D Beyond for the 2e monster "Ixitxachitl, Ixzan" and want to know if conversions are okay to share with the community through the homebrew content system.
Who knows? I have asked this question dozens of times of the moderators and gotten conflicting answers. I've reported several 1e/2e public conversions to them and they've all been OK according to the mods. Then I had some of my own content personally reviewed by a mod before publishing and then published it only to have the same mod, 24 hours later, tell me it violated copyright.
So, roll some dice and hope you get a high roll, I guess?

We have been allowing conversions from prior editions via the homebrew system without issue. If the content is current in any 5e material - even reworded - it needs to remain private. Please see validation here: https://twitter.com/ZaxReed/status/1137761275851747328

From what I remember of the homebrew rules on sharing, you can't share anything that is or was owned by another group or individual.
