I think if I wanted both - I'm not sure why I shouldn't be forced to buy both at full price. But maybe a 5-10% discount for getting them both at the same time wouldn't go amiss. Personally I'm happy enough having them all as digital.
I bought the core 3 well before DDB existed, and being old school (well, okay, just old) I like the idea of having the books, but the truth is I very rarely use them since I'm already on DDB using the character sheets (and now encounter builder). I also like that I have been able to add XGtE and WGtE cheaper than the physical books would have cost. Would it be nice to get a digital copy with the book, or at a discounted price? Sure, but I think it's completely understandable that it doesn't happen. It would be difficult to include discount codes or download keys that people couldn't copy without buying the book, and DDB has to pay licensing fees, server costs, dev and maintenance, staff, keeping the lights on, etc.
The digital editions are already cheaper than the physical books. Whether or not I also buy physical copies, that’s enough of a discount for me.
If Wizards and DDB came to some deal that would let me pay less money, obviously I would take advantage of that. But I’m perfectly happy with things the way they are, and any claims of entitlement are ignorant and misguided.
I'd be willing to pay 5-8$ for a bundle, but it is probably worth (to pay all parties involved their usual cuts) 12-15$ or more.
And honestly, using DDB coupons and amazon for physical books, it is possible to get both versions for around 5$ more than MSRP for 1 anyway.
Well, I can't change the poll wording, but the question is designed to ask what the title does, and yes, you can get them both for less if you shop around, but at retail you don't get the same discounts. The idea is, if a bundle were sold at retail, what increase would be just right to get the digital.
In order to get the full range of answers, you should add "Nothing - I am entitled to a physical version for free."
Sounds sarcastic, but it isn't. A question about bundles that assumes the physical copy is the "default" purchase doesn't take into account players that only buy the digital versions and have no desire to have the physical version unless it is heavily discounted.

The question simply ask about increased cost to get both, I can’t change the poll text, but sure, assume digital or physical free

The title says it all.
Is this on top of the regular price of the physical copy? I guess it would depend on which book.
But honestly, I don't want physical copies so I am good with DnDBeyond as is.
Yes, this would be added cost, so how much more would you pay to get both instead of just one or the other

The title and the poll ask different questions...

Full price for each.
Baring sales or special discounts, full price for each. I'm not going to cheat my friends that own game shops nor DDB out of what they deserve.
