Very short story but very interesting... I guess. My last character, a rogue noble, died in the Mines of Phandelver campaign, mostly because half the group quit and me and the one other player who stayed were only level 3. Me and the paladin failed the persuasion check by two to convince the dragon to leave his home and he attacked. My friend, the paladin got oneshot and I was dropped to three health by just managing to dodge. By now it was clear that game was basiclly over I decided to just screw around. So I pulled out my last two alchemists molotovs, one in each hand, screamed "**** YOUR GOLD!" and just chucked them right onto the dragons gold, roll for the attack. NAT 20! Melted 90% of his gold! Then I downed a random blue potion I had in my bag and flipped off the dragon. Dragon was up next and killed me pretty brutally but I was informed by my DM that the potion I drank was basically liquid viagra...
My character died with a hard on. Flipping off a dragon. While about half a million gold melted in the background...
Share some funny or awful D&D stories! I love hearing them!
