What changes have been hinted at about the Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron and what changes would you guys suggest.
Personally I'd take the Dragonmarks out of the subraces and make them feats to allow for s PC's mark to reveal itself during the campaign, IIRC they tend to develop after a traumatic experience. If the group wanted to start with a Dragonmark then you could have 1 extra feat at character creation.

But only in certain bloodlines of certain races. So it makes sense to have them as a subrace. You could then make it part of the character's backstory that it appeared during a traumatic event.

I think you are thinking of aberrant Dragon marks. According to WGtE, house dragonmarks all form around adolescence, so making them races makes sense.
