how did you do it? was it just a simple:"this world has greek gods,not dnd gods" or did you flesh it out with huge churches for specific gods, and make full "bios" for each gods stats just encase you needed it? or did you have a world with both irl gods and dnd gods? anything from other games (ie elder scrolls)?

There is nothing wrong with putting them in your game. You can make them however you wish. There is a thread out there someplace that discusses that very subject.
