So being new to DND i am trying everything that i can. I have joined a few PBP and have started DM for my kids and their cousins. My question is this, is there any specific order to the adventures? For instance are there certain adventures that should be done prior to others because of level necessity or because of story-line?
The published campaigns have a sort of self contained order, but it isn’t really contemplated that you’ll do Curse of Strahd then take your level 12 characters and start Waterdeep: Dragon Heist with them. The only ones where one runs into another are the Tyranny of Dragons ones. To be honest I’d try to keep a regular schedule through one campaign before I worried about how to handle a second.

Hoard of the Dragon Queen ---> Rise of Tiamat.
Waterdeep: Dragon Heist ---> Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage.
Dragon of Icespire Peak --> Storm Lord's Wrath --> Sleeping Dragon's Wake --> Divine Contention
Awesome. So that is a lvl1 beginning and ending at .....whatever? This is good to know versus doing random adventures with people. I appreciate it.
