lf so,would i need a special item (like a book version of smiths tools?) l ask cause l made a spell that uses a book as a materiel component and lt would need to be...flexible in the way the book gets made and lt would not be...efficient to buy the book in a store. (one reason is the book needs to be devoid of writing)
It depends on how big a thing I expected bookmaking to be in the campaign. If the only time it’s going to come up is in preparing the material component for your new spell, I’d just let calligrapher’s tools proficiency apply. But if bookmaking is going to play a larger role in the story, I’d make a dedicated tool for it. Bookbinder’s tools or something like that.
