I have a question regarding the repeating shot infusion that I have tested on firearms.
For whatever reason, when I apply the infusion to a pistol or musket I can attune to it. This seems to do nothing but grant an extra +1 to hit and, I haven't checked this, presumably damage as well.
You are aware the repeating shot infusion adds a +1 to hit and attack on top of allowing you to ignore the ammunition requirement for the weapon. Not sure what your question is.
"Item: A simple or martial weapon with the ammunition property (requires attunement)
This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it when it’s used to make a ranged attack, and it ignores the loading property if it has it."
Hi all,
I have a question regarding the repeating shot infusion that I have tested on firearms.
For whatever reason, when I apply the infusion to a pistol or musket I can attune to it. This seems to do nothing but grant an extra +1 to hit and, I haven't checked this, presumably damage as well.
Why is this? Thank you in advance.

Per the repeating shot infusion
"Item: A simple or martial weapon with the ammunition property (requires attunement)
This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it when it’s used to make a ranged attack, and it ignores the loading property if it has it."
