I'm currently in need of a new character for a campaign, i would like to play a creative character, not necessarily a efective one, my current idea is a earth genasi monk that is blind, but have tremorsense, it will give him a lot of buffs and debuffs, but it sure will make some cool interactions with the other pcs and the world. Do you guys have any other cool ideas?
My favorite right now is a vhuman (PAM) zealot Barbarian with the acolyte background uses quarterstaff/dressed in his vestments. Simple priest of a peaceful god goes into a divine fueled rage when his chapel is attacked. Fear of harming his parishioners causes him to leave his hometown behind, gets sucked into any adventure that includes the hook “helping the common people.” Potential “arc” for this character would be about accepting his powers as a gift to defend the innocent. I see him eventually switching to halfplate/glaive and becoming a “paladin” of sorts, oath included (but not multi classing). Eventually taking the sentinel feat to help him defend his allies (maybe as early as level 4).
Edit: focusing on skills like religion, medicine, insight, performance (sermons) if you can get them helps sell the theme of the character. Also like the idea of always having lots of healer’s kits/healing potions in his gear. For a less optimized more thematic character, taking Healer, magic initiate cleric (guidance, light/spare the dying, healing word/cure wounds), or magic initiate Druid (guidance, mending?/produce flame?, goodberry) as level 1 feat could work

Idea I've had: Kobold draconic bloodline sorcerer just wants to become a dragon. Dragonbreath is your go-to spell.
