First off I apologize if this is in the wrong section as I'm very new here, please let me know and I'll move it immediately. As I said I'm brand new to d&d so I came here to create my first character, a bard, level 1 naturally and if I'm reading correctly I should have 2 cantrips and 4 spells, I wasn't given a list to choose from for either of those so I guess my question is how exactly does that work? Do I need to research bard spells and cantrips and manually add it in to my character sheet or am i just missing something? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
When you look at your class levels there is a Spells section under the class name you have. You can also go to the character sheet > spells > manage spells and add them that way. They automatically filter what spells you have available and can be learned by the bard.
