I have a doubt about one of the skills of the evocation school.
Does the ability to sculpt the spell really work in the written way, since either the caster chooses his allied damage or is even immune to spells that damage the area?
For example, drop a fireball and choose three allies, are they immune to magic damage, or do they have to take the test to suffer nothing?
The text of the feature description tells you exactly what happens. “The chosen creatures automatically succeed on their saving throws against the spell, and they take no damage if they would normally take half damage on a successful save.”
