Just a quick question.
In the downtime gambling rules is this correct:
0 win: -200%
1 win: -50%
2 wins: 150%
3 wins 200%
Example two wins at 10gp stake gives 25gp
It's not Magic its Science
150% of 10 is 15, not 25, and since you had to stake the 10gp to begin with, your net increase is 5gp. But you do receive 15gp after having spent 10gp.
Wording is a little confusing, but I believe it is: (with 100% of the bet being breaking even)
0 wins: -100%, 1 win: 50%, 2 wins: 150%, 3 wins: 200%
0 wins is worse than 3 wins is good, but that is gambling for ya.
That's why it's a bit confusing. The xgte says 'gain' not net. If it said you put stakes of £ and then gain £; then yep it's a50% net.
It can be read both ways. But either way it's a bit squishy.
