So I am using discord with avrae pulling info from dnd beyond ,to run a campaign . I have paid to get various options o dnd beyond PHB, monster guide , gm guide etc. Can I / how do I share these items with people in my campaign?
First, you'll need the subscription service to DND Beyond that allows sharing.
Then, you go to Collections - My Campaigns - Create a Campaign. After you create it, on the campaign screen, "Enable Content Sharing". Then you share the link and have people create characters in that campaign, and they should have access to whatever you have access to - and anything they have unlocked will be shared within that campaign as well. Be careful with homebrew stuff when doing this however, as everyone's stuff gets shared across the board, including homebrew (which is why most people tell players to disable homebrew on the character creation screen).
I ran into a problem with the Discord bot Avrae. I have purchased most of the content from D&D Beyond. I am not the DM in our current game, but a player. Our current DM has not purchased the content from D&D Beyond and can not use my purchased content in Discord like he can on D&D Beyond. Besides making him purchase all the content, is there a way to fix this?
Edit: After some experimenting we got it to work. I had to turn off sharing completely. Turn it back on and then upload my D&D Beyond profile again to Avrae. At that point it still didn't work. The whole group closed their browsers and Discord and after restarting both it started working.
