I am thinking about getting my kids (both around 11 y/o) in D and D. I played 1st and 2nd ed. and now trying to learn 5th ed. I want to make my adventures with them more logic, riddle, and puzzle-based and not so combat-based. Any suggestions on resources?

Check out James Haeck's Encounters of the Week. They often aren't just combat.
On YouTube, WallyDM has a whole playlist of D&D/Pathfinder puzzles, I have used quite a few of them in my games. I can't wait for my niece and nephew to get a little older to get them into D&D.

Well, you could change some rooms in dungeons from combat to puzzles. This thread gives you good puzzle examples. https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/6ukgn9/60_dungeon_puzzles_for_you/

Edit: There are like 5 pages of encounters. My favorite was the Myconid mausoleum.
Looks like you beat me to it. Thanks.
