As far as I have seen May 7th access is restricted to the physical + digital bundle or physical copies bought in game stores. I pre-ordered here on DnDBeyond and it shows a May 21st release date for the digital-only product. The prequel adventure that comes with preordering the digital release comes out tomorrow.
In the past at least, it's only been the physical+bundle that got the "early" release. Gotta persuade you to upgrade.

If you pre-order Vecna: Eve of Ruin (either digital only, or the digital + physical bundle), you will receive Vecna: Nest of the Eldritch Eye as a free digital adventure. This adventure releases on the 16th of April so will unlock on that date if you've pre-ordered.
I preorded it ages ago and it shows up in my order history as well but I don’t have access to it even tho it is the 16th of April might just be too early in the day
Yeah, depending where you live, you get access pretty late in the day. I live in Europe and usually get access closer to evening when new books are released.

It releases simultaneously for everyone. I believe it's at about 4pm GMT(so about 5.5 hours from now).

For the record, I had to log into my wizards store account, go to order history, unlock the redeem key, paste the key into my D&D Beyond account to unlock the Eldritch Eye.
It is available now in the Sources section for those who have been asking - no code needed if you preordered.
Curious, it's not showing for me just yet.

The release happens at one time, but propagation to accounts is a time consuming and uneven thing....on discord i'm seeing more and more reports of people finally seeing it in their sources. So..if you know you're due it, just hang in there, it'll be coming.
also make sure to sync your entitlements, that never hurts.
It's come, but how do you sync your entitlements? For future reference.

Hello,
It's very unclear to me if I will get early access to eye of ruin from the digital pre-order or if you need the physical+digital bundle for that?
Does anyone know if it unlocks may 7th if you have the digital pre-order only?
Thanks for the help

What's gmt bc I preordered it too and want to know when it'll be released.
Greenwich Mean Time, the time zone that runs through the UK (during the winter, we're an hour ahead of that at the moment)
The target release time is usually 7am PT / 9am CT / 10am ET / 3pm BST (UK)

Does an email get sent when it's available or do you just keep checking until it shows up?
I don't know. I'm trying to find it as well.
thanks
I think you have to keep checking.
Do you need an emailed code to unlock it? Never got a code and pre-ordered the bundle months ago.
