There's the Sourcebook, Adventure and Legendary Bundles on the marketplace but how come there aren't any like that for the individual content like the compendiums or the character builder options? I"m mainly asking as someone who wants the builder options and not the rest of the books. And yes I can just buy the individual bundles from each book or just the specific things I need for my campaign, but that doesn't change the fact that you can buy all the books in a bundle and get a discount.
There are plenty of people who just want the character builder stuff so why isn't there a Race Bundle or Spell Bundle? Or at least a Builder Bundle and a Compendium Bundle if you want to simplify things. That way people who only want the compendiums or builder options get a deal. Maybe a monster compendium also? since monsters aren't part of character creation.
If that’s really what you want, then you really desire the sourcebook bundle. It will include all the races, classes, subclasses, backgrounds and monsters you could hope for. Buying the bundle in this way likely saves you a mint versus individually buying just the components you want. The reason for this is easy. It’s incentive for you to buy the full content. Unlike physical content, Beyond gives the ability to just get the components of a book you want. But, there is incentive to buy the full book at a discount and a bigger discount if you buy a bundle and then the best value for the legendary bundle.
Piecing little bits here and there is fine and good and is basically a bonus Beyond does to make things more accessible, but bundling components gets you in the territory of where you might as well get the whole books.
