Under the drop down that says Cunning Artisan, and it gives the list slain beast, construct, dragon, monstrosity, or plant creature, do the other races like, Human, Dwarf and the rest are excluded from that list?
If humanoid isn't listed, then no, you can't use humanoid corpses for it. that includes kobolds, other lizardfolk, dwarves, elves, humans, whatever is listed as a humanoid.
It literally spells out everything you can use, and if it's not there, you can't do it.

A rule Nazi would say no. But if you take it to your DM that being a lizard man means that you look at "playable races" as no less meat to be eaten as any other beast, I don't think you have problem.

When you put it like that, I can see how that could work out. But, DevanAvalon conformed what I was thinking. It doesn't have humanoids in the list.
