Could any of you recommend any online platforms for playing DnD or roleplaying DnD characters? I'm searching for a platform that offers text-based gameplay primarily because of accessibility and immersion reasons.
Firstly, I find text-based platforms to be more inclusive and accessible for individuals with various disabilities, such as visual impairments. With text-based gameplay, the focus is solely on the narrative and interaction, allowing players to immerse themselves in the story without relying on visual cues. This inclusivity aligns with my values of creating an environment where everyone can participate and enjoy the game equally.
Moreover, text-based platforms often provide a more immersive experience for storytelling and character development. Without the distraction of visuals or interfaces, players can delve deeper into their characters' personalities, motivations, and interactions with the world around them. This depth adds richness to the gameplay and fosters collaborative storytelling among players.
Additionally, text-based platforms tend to offer flexibility in terms of scheduling and participation. As someone with a busy schedule, I appreciate the ability to engage in gameplay asynchronously, responding to prompts and interacting with other players at my own pace. This flexibility enables me to enjoy the game without feeling pressured to adhere to strict time constraints or scheduling conflicts.
Overall, I'm seeking a text-based online platform for playing DnD because of its accessibility, immersion, and flexibility. If you know of any platforms that meet these criteria or have similar features, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations!"

Hello! I'm Rian Setiawan from Kuala Lumpur. I'm a photography enthusiast who loves capturing beautiful everyday moments. I also enjoy role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons (DnD), where I can explore imagination and create epic stories. I love living in Kuala Lumpur, a vibrant and colorful city. Feel free to reach out if you want to share about photography or DnD!
Um .. there are play-by-post games on this very forum. There are several others like it - I play on Mythweaver. There are also people playing on Discord. I'm sure there's like 100 different options out there.
Getting a party and a game running can be tough tho.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
