I don't know about anyone else, but I got into tabletop RPGs pretty late and D&D wasn't my first RPG. It was The Hero System, back in 2013 or so. As much as I love D&D, I find that I prefer The Hero System's much more open-ended approach to character creation. Any plans on trying to set up a similar site for non-D&D games? Or, perhaps, does anyone know of any pre-existing sites that already accomplish this?

Don't know of a site but these programs would probably accomplish your purpose. I used an old version of this software and was incredibly impressed by how easy it was to use.
Champions has kind of faded into the dust over the years -- shame. It was a great system.
I think Mehrkat's suggestion of the software is probably your best bet. I'm not aware of any other sites that enabled you to make up full Champions characters.
I'd love it if someone did a Champions system mod for Foundry. I might actually consider playing it again. (When I am done with my current multi-year D&D campaign, that is...)

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
hero system hasn't actually faded its just all systems are specks compared to DnD. There is a pretty dedicated fan base its just often hard to get people who are happy with DnD to take the time to learn another secret. I searching for forums and such and when trying to get a campaign focus on the story and world and help them with the system part.
They are in the same category as GURPS, Savage Worlds, FATE etc.

I think something is going to be done with the Cortex system.
You must be good at math lol.
