So in MTG The Guildpact was broken in an attempt to grant Nicol Bolas (mtg's satan) ultimate power and in Beyond Death Helios is more or less dead. So what you think of using sets that released around time with the campaign books?
I think campaigns set in those worlds are supposed to happen chronologically before the events of the newer sets. (Also, I think of Bolas as more of a Thanos than a Satan.)
Izzet, Golgari, Azorius, Gruul, Orzhov. Although I’ve kind of wiped the whole War of the Spark story from my brain, it was awful.
Idk the War of the Spark, but I read the Guildmaster’s Guide to Ravnica and there was no mention of anything like that. Does that mean it’s not canon?
But I have heard of Nicol Bolas. He’s an Elder Dragon.
If I recall, GGtR is set a little before War of the Spark as Jace Beleren is said to be the current Living Guildpact in the book. Niv-Mizzet (The Guilmaster of Izzet) becomes the Living Guildpact after War of the Spark.

I keep forgetting what guilds betrayed Ravnica to Bolas? Izzet, Golgari, er....
The MTG Wiki might be a bit of help there.

Thanks 😊
Also Helios is effectively dead in canon.
