Yes! Seth is the #1 content creator out there, he focuses on all the stuff the books won’t tell you.
That said, my most important advice is to not plan too far ahead and always make the players, not the lore, backstory, or NPCs, the stars of the story. Fun games are more important than giant plots. And feel free to remind them you’re all working together to tell a good story! Especially as a new DM, you shouldn’t have to take all the responsibility.
Have fun!

Hello! I am a new DM that would love some tips.
If I don't do this someone else will so, here goes...
Best advice you can get as a new DM is to watch as many episodes as possible of Matt Colville's running the game series. Link to the intro below.
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
Dang, you beat us to it. It's almost like a race to see who can post Mr. Colville first.
I'll raise you a Seth Skowkowsky.
