This may be a ridiculous question, but I was wondering about it based on both a RAW standpoint and a general impression of lycanthropy lore, dnd or otherwise. I was wondering this because my silver scaled and silver obsessed dragonborn barbarian just contracted werewolf lycanthropy.
Certainly not, silver dragon claw and bite attacks don't count as silver weapons either. Metallic dragons are metallic in appaerance only, they are not made of metal, which would propably make them constructs or elementals rather than dragons.

As far as I know, dragon scales are not made from the metal they are looking like.
No. Silver dragonborn simply have silver-colored scales. They're not actually made of silver.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
It’s just their colour, they aren’t made of silver.
