So, I wanted to make a tabaxi but I realized I had to buy volos guide through d&d beyond. I bought volos guide a long time ago and don't want to buy it again. Is it possible to somehow get the tabaxi without buying the book again or it being shared?

so i have access to 14 hard copy books for 5e i really don't want to buy them again... do i have to or is there a way to get credit for it
Beyond and WotC are two separate companies. trying to get a digital version for free is like buying a physical Playstation disc and going to ask Xbox for a free digital version.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
i was just making sure that i wasn't missing it somewhere i'm not demanding they give it to me i understand if i have to pay. Like i was asking if i could use that PlayStation disc to play with my buddies online or if i got to purchase the digital version for online access
I wouldn't say you have to rebuy everything, and I wouldn't say you necessarily would have to buy everything you want use from your hardcover collection. The homebrew system allows you to replicate officially published materials. It will recognize it as such so you wouldn't be able to "publish" it to the broader community, but could use it for personal or campaign use (the latter I believe though only if you have a master tier subscription). Just buying the digital editions would be a lot less labor intensive than entering everything you want to use into homebrew, though I'm glad the systems in place for some 3rd Party material I want my players to access. Slightly less costly, you can also buy sections of books piecemeal. Say you don't care about Volo's excerpt the PC races, or even a particular race, you can buy the races or individual race ... and if you decide to just buy the book, the piecemeal purchase is credited to the book price.

I really do not know of a way to say this but to just be blunt and say it. is there any way that you would consider adding Epic Legacy to the compendium/marketplace. I would like to have a copy of it so that I can add it to characters that I create? This is just a suggestion of something that I would like to see. Thanks

To clarify, you're talking about the 3rd party sourcebook from 2CGaming? I assume someone official might give you an official answer, but I'm fairly sure the licence with WotC doesn't allow 3rd party material without permission.

Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].

You can buy the Tabaxi separately. Still costs money, but not nearly as much as the whole book. https://www.dndbeyond.com/marketplace/sourcebooks/volos-guide-to-monsters (scroll down to get to the races)

I’d recommend buying the whole race section, in volo’s not just tabaxi

I was not aware that it was 3rd party. either way I thought that it never hurts to ask. If they cannot, they cannot. But thanks for the reply.
