I haven't seen a definite answer to this question: Can you purchase the OCFs from Tasha's without purchasing the entire book?
I don't see the OCFs as a distinct bundle on the Tasha's market page, so at first I thought that, like the racial custom origins (RCO), they might be available for free. But when I tried creating a new character and enabled the OFC option, the OFCs weren't there. So that brought me back around to wondering how to buy them.
I tend to buy books piecemeal rather than all in one go, so I'd like the option of buying these without having to get the full book all at once. So, it there an option to do so—like if I purchase a subclass for a class, do the OFCs for that class also get unlocked?
I'm on the same boat as you. Thought they were gonna be free for the same exact reason but so far it seems the only way to get them is to buy the full book.
Well, I bought a ranger subclass (swarmkeeper), but it didn't unlock the ranger OCFs... Well, the new ranger fighting styles were available, but nothing else.

I bought the full book, it looks like the OCFs aren't implemented in the character builder yet.

Class Feature Variants are implemented, at least mostly.
They are and have been there. Toggle them active in the 'Home' section and they show up under a new tab on the 'Class' section.
