I'm been working on a level 14 warlock character (The Fiend) for an ongoing campaign and because warlocks have limited known spells, I'm not sure whether to take Command or Suggestion (or both) as they are fairy similar.
They may appear to be similar but they serve very different functions. Command lasts for a single round - that is - the creature that was successfully commanded takes their single action on their following turn to do the action you told them to do. Once they've done that action - command ends and they're free to do as they please again. Suggestion can last much longer (depending on the wording of the suggestion) - up to 8 hours.
Also - since you would be a 14th level Warlock - your Pact Magic spell slots would be 5th level so Command could target 5 creatures. Suggestion will only ever target 1 creature and won't scale with spell slot level at all.
That said - as Lyxen pointed out - Suggestion is typically much more flexible and can be extremely useful in many situations - while Command is comparatively quite limited.

They are both good spells, IMHO suggestion is much better as it has much wider applications both in and out of combat, but it also depends a lot on interpretation, so you should maybe check with your DM how he understand and applies the spell description. There has been a recent discussion about this, and you can find my views here. I tend to be quite open-minded with the suggestions, as the limits of the spells are in other areas in particular the concentration.
Thank y'all so much for the help! I guess I'll go with Suggestion for now. (Although as you said Emmber, it's important to keep in mind that Command can target multiple creatures, potentially saving spell slots)
