I've been working on a quest line for a player who is hunting progressively older monsters from across the multiverse. Thanks to a previous thread I have a general idea of the order the sub quests will travel in, but I had a decent idea to make a recurring character for my other campaigns in the multiverse out of a "mad" Neutral Baernaloth. I like the idea of Baernaloths, and seeing as "madness" occurs within the from time to time, causing a one-stage alignment shift, Evil-Neutral to True Neutral isn't too far-fetched.
I want to keep his name within similar naming traditions of their kind, not just to give it a name that is both mystifying and seemingly wizened and old, but to avoid the cliché of just coming up with an epithet or title without a name proper. Only three named Baernaloths have been mentioned so far, and with the exception of Apomps, two share a similar naming convention, though I confess I cannot adequately translate it or determine any cultural origin.
Daru ib Shamiq and Harishek ap Thulkesh are the other named Baernaloth, and without diving too deeply their names convey a certain middle-eastern, arabic, or karnatakan construction, unless I am horribly insultingly wrong, for which I would readily apologize. I base this off "Daru" being a name of Hindi origin, though the "ap" prefix of Harishek is likely welsh? but would mean something similar to Ib, if but are to mean "son of", though Ib is from a different naming culture, and Shamiq appear to be islamic in origin. Which itself is odd, as there is no information on whether or not Baernaloth actually reproduce, Daru being one of the oldest beings inthe multiverse.

You don't ask anything in your post - do you want suggestions for the third name? Or is this more of a discussion post about your homebrew?
I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
Yes? I'm trying to figure out how the Baernaloth naming convention works. I wholly apologize if that wasn't clear, that's my bad.
