You can always resort to the old “number of PCs plus alliterating adjective” standby (Fab Five, Formidable Five, etc), but isn’t there something that’s uniquely you? How and where (the Waterdeep Ratcatchers) did you meet, what was your first triumph (the Ghoul Eaters), who is your patron (Silvestri’s Hand), do you have a common goal (the Lich Hunters of the Spire)? Any phrases (Fringe Benefits) that seem to get used frequently?

Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
First of all, why do you need a party name? Back in the day we always just called our party "the party."
Second of all, the race and class of the characters is not really helpful. It would be more helpful to know what kind of tasks they have performed, what their objective is as a group, etc. For example, one of Matt Coleville's groups, which had (a) protected the town of Gravesford, and (b) found the mystical Shield of Andrim, called themselves "The Shield of Gravesford."

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
My groups didn't have a name either. I guess people want to have a name for their crew because super hero teams have names, and Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein are quite famous.
I think something that doesn't sound like a group of door kickers would be appealing.

Yes we always named our superhero teams... but we never named our fantasy parties.
I mean... there are examples from literature such as the Fellowship of the Ring and the Black Company. There's nothing wrong with naming your party... it's just not something my group ever did.

So we won't be using the Magnificent Seven or the Three Amigos. How about the Penultimate Penta-dudes. I always wanted to call my party the Wild Rovers, because there is a great Aussie song for that.

My current party is the Rangers of Kibbuzahd. None of us are rangers. None of us are from Kibbuzahd (wherever that might be) but the DM insisted we have a group name. It does the job.
The scribes of the local town keep asking my current party "what to call them" but they haven't come up with a party name and at this point, 22 sessions in, I guess they never will.
It's up to them.... Not gonna force it.

We're having trouble trying to pick out a name for our party, we are:
Goliath Barbarian
Shadarkai Rogue
Eladrin Monk
Aasimar Cleric
Human Ranger
Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated, thank you!

My party's current name is A Group of People on a "Difficult High-Paying Quest" for Mysterious Reasons.
