I pre-ordered a Physical copy of Vecna: Eve of Ruin. I feel kinda left out on that Pre-order adventure Nest of the Eldritch Eye. Is there any way of helping those who purchased a physical copy of this book to also get a copy of the Nest of the Eldritch Eye when their books are delivered??
I mean digital copy are 29.99 and physical copies are 59.99. I pay more but get less? Any help????
I knew about it being available for purchase after the book was released.
I was talking about a physical copy with the physical book purchase. I mean digital pre-orders get a digital copy of Nest of The Eldritch Eye. People who pre-ordered the physical copy for more money gets nothing..... I'm not sure where that math adds up, but I feel people who still get physical copies of books are being left out when it comes to these promotions. I mean pay less with digital and get more. Where is the equal ground?
I play on the table still. Not through a computer. I like d&d beyond for easy reference. But having friends actually playing at my table is a lot of fun. But I feel I am being punished by the digital gods for wanting a physical book in my hands.
I understand what you're saying. The fact of the matter is that for whatever long term reason, WotC promotes DDB by producing DDB exclusive incentives for DDB purchases and subscriptions, and aside from game store exclusive covers, doesn't do the same for physical book purchases. Part of the math is probably at the end of the day it's a lot more expensive to put a print book than a digital product. As a result, there's more opportunity to develop digital products, and then a sort of vicious cycle takes place.
Also keep in mind that digital, at least with DDB, does not mean exclusively for online play. IIRC DDB was actually created to be used as physical tables and entering into the developing at the time VTT space was potential longterm goal. I like/prefer my D&D books too when planning games, but once I have more than five of them out at my table during a session, I'm more likely to navigate them on DDB on a tablet rather than shuffling the stack and flipping pages.

I am cool with a PDF version of Nest of the Eldritch Eye or access to it just like the digital pre-order. I can print it out myself. This is what I am asking for and/or requesting. I am just looking for fairness to us physical copy pre-orderers. I thank you for your input MidnightPlat.

There have been no plans announced for a PDF version, but you can print out the adventure from the D&D Beyond site.
