Hi everyone- first time post here and trying to put this in the right place.
Specifically, using the !madd command in Avrae isn't pulling through 5e monsters for me. I'm having to dummy in rudimentary monsters and adjust HP on the fly.
For example, !init add mind flayer [arguments] makes Avrae pm me a list of monsters that have nothing to do with Mind flayers.
I've worked around it by dummying in combatants using something like: !i madd -"lion" -hp 110 -ac 12 -h and just remembering that "LI1" in initiative is actually a mind flayer.
Mind Flayers are not SRD content and so are not handled in Avrae natively. If you link your Beyond account to Discord (via the Accounts section of the site), you can access all your purchased content automatically. Otherwise, you will have to find a critterdb bestiary that has the monster(s) you want to use and import them via the !bestiary command.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"

Am I needing purchased content or something?

Seems like another solution would be to purchase the Monster Manual on D&DB?
If you use an argument with a space in it, such as trying to add a mind flayer, remember to use quote marks:
!init madd “mind flayer”
This is true for any spell/weapon/effect that contains a space.
