so i have a level 6 death cleric and last time i was talking with the DM about multiclassing it looked like a fun and cool idea but i really have no idea what i should multiclass into i was thinking maybe blood hunter is that possible?
also any idea for a good multiclass for death cleric?
Blood Hunter multiclassing requires Int 13+ as well as Str or Dex 13+. I don't know your character's stats, but those are not a given for clerics.
That aside, if you have no idea what to multiclass into what made it look like a fun and cool idea? I'm not saying you shouldn't, multiclassing can be great, but it might help to know what your expectations are.

well blood hunter is out of the question i only have int 12. but the reason for multiclassing is just that i really wanna make something interesting story wise just to spice my character up.
Divine Soul Sorc is good as well, as the metamagic can stack really well with cleric spells and it keeps with the cleric spell list and adds in the sorc one
Do not even consider MC'ing until after you hit 8th level in Cleric. I never understand why people throw away ASI's so easily. Further, MC'ing wipes out the ability to gain higher level spells. Don't do that.

MC’ing does have its drawbacks, especially for spellcasters, but I guess it all depends on how far a campaign is going to go and what synergies adding another class will bring.
I feel the same way when I see posts with 17th or 18th level characters picking up their first MC level. To me, at that level, what’s the point? But some people do that if their campaigns run that high.
In the end, if you have a particular character you’re looking to create it might be worth sacrificing an ASI or spell levels if you can have fun playing the character you want.
