Magic Weapon for reference, adding a homebrew effect that if cast with a 8+ spell slot can be cast on a already magical weapon, replacing the +# on the weapon.
For example, it would turn a Vicious Rapier, +1 into a Vicious Rapier, +3 (not a Vicious Rapier, +4).
Is there a way to abuse this in general? Should I limit it to non-Artifact/Legendary weapons? Would intelligent weapons be offended, thinking that you're implying they aren't powerful enough as originally designed?
