The DM won't let me play a "Leprechaun".  But I want to develop this character so badly.   I think he would be a fun character to run.  So, how would I be able to homebrew or better yet use existing races / feats / classes to make this happen?

I've already been told Halflings don't come in 6 foot 5 inches so that's out.  I'm new to the forum so if this isn't the proper place to lay this down, please feel free to push / shove me in the right direction.  Also, if you've seen this build already, I would greatly appreciate any links, guides, etc... to help me along.
