Hey peeps, I am trying to create action with limited uses that increases at higher levels in a subclass. Basically I am wanting to implement the check boxes for an action that increase at certain levels. I have tried a couple of things but to no avail. I also understand that sometimes the changes take some time before they show up. Or if there is a subclass that already has this method that I can copy and look at the how they did it, I would do that too. Any suggestions?
For limited use actions, once you add your action and enter all the details, you need to make sure you have some reset type set, then save all your work. It will send you back to the other menu so you will have to click on the edit again, scroll down and it will have added a new tab that you can click on called limited use. You click add limited use, specify how many uses you have and set the level that it applies. (Just a note, the number of uses you set will override the previous amount, it does not add to it.)
You may also find another tab under that one called level overrides which you can use if you need to change die amounts and other information. Though if you need to use the scale value snippet you have to enter that information under Level Scaling.
Save your work again, and you should be good, for pointers on this you can copy any number of subclass templates that have increase the use of an action. The one I just used was under Portent on the Wizard Diviner, because it was easy and one of the first ones I can remember having it, but there are others I am sure.

There should be a menu where you can edit it. Check level scaling, or look at your scale value.
