I am attempting to create an ability that, at a lower level, only comes back on a long rest, then, at a higher level, comes back on a short or long rest, akin to Bardic Inspiration. I assume I'm overlooking something that can produce this effect, or maybe it just isn't there yet. I know I could just go back in and alter the feature manually when the class reaches said higher level, but that is only a fix if I am personally using it and not if I am sharing it with people in my campaign or posting it publicly. Either way I would really appreciate any constructive assistance, even if the answer is a simple "can't be done". Thanks!

Create the Class Feature: "Add Class Feature", >> Add Name/Description and all options, then "Create Class Feature", >> "Add Action", Select a type of Action (I Chose General). Fill in all necessary information. Then: [Reset Type (Long Rest)] - Save
"Add Limited Use Data" (Select the number of times per Long Rest). (Ex. By Proficiency Bonus or # of times based on Wisdom Modifier) - Save [This step is required for the next one to allow you to change to "Short Rest"]
"Add Level Override to Action" (to change to Short Rest) - Save
Done.
Note: I have not tested this on my character yet, just noticed you had a question that I was in the middle of working out. This SHOULD work.
>> I am not yet sure how to make a Scaling Feature/Action that changes from Long Rest to Short Rest. The options seem to be separate...
This works PERFECTLY. You absolutely nailed it. Thank you very much!
