So I am attempting to make a subclass feature for a prepared spellcaster (artificer, druid, cleric, paladin). Basically it should be able to do this: A player can pick a spell from the wizard spell list, which adds it to the list of spells known, but doesn't make it automatically and permanently prepared.
E.g., druid adds absorb elements, which then appears available on their Manage Spells sidebar.
No such luck yet. I made a feature, picked 'wizard' in the Spell Class field, and Consumes Spell Slot = Yes, Counts as Known Spell = No, Always Prepared = No. 'Is infinite' ticked. All other fields blank.
All selected spells are prepared, however.
Is this possible to do, or is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

the way to do this is very round about in that you have to edit the spell you want to add to include the subclass with possible canidates
