Hi guys, I've always hated how standard array and roll four drop one often lead to Jack of All trades master of none builds. I made two homebrew arrays for my players to pick from, or they can do roll four drop one if they wish. These arrays are: 6,8,10,12,16,18 and 8,8,12,12,14,16. This gives a total of 70 points, 2 less than standard array. What are your guys thoughts?
I'd toss in those extra two points somewhere. Having odd numbered stats gives players incentive to go for those feats that boost a stat by one point (to get up to the next modifier break point) while also giving other benefits.
