I think you meant to say a homebrew "race", right?
You can get it easy if you make your homebrew out of another race that already exists. Choose the Dwarf or the Dragonborn as the "draft" so you can just edit the "Damage Resistence" trait and switch the damage type to acid.
If you want to go from stretch:
1. Create a Racial Trait, add its name, description and anything else that demands to be filled;
2. Save it, you will need to save it in order to add stuff;
3. Create a Modifier to your Trait, Set the Modifier Type as "Resistance" and the Modifier Subtype as "Acid"
4. Than save the Modifier and you get back to the Trait page, save it again and you can go back to another trait.
I'm making a homebrew character and want to add a defense against acid, but I can't find an option to do that. Someone help me please!
